Jimmy, an orphan living alone on the outskirts of Tirana, works as a cemetery keeper and gravedigger. His quiet, absurd life unfolds between tombstones and disco lights—he finds solace in classic discotheque hits, which fuel his dreams and keep him going. When a corrupted system builds an elementary school over part of the cemetery, Jimmy meets Egla, a teacher. Their encounter sparks a love that unsettles his routine. But everything changes when Jimmy is ordered to destroy an old grave to make space for a new buyer—an act that threatens the delicate balance of his strange but beautiful world.
