Leon, a real estate worker in Germany, returns to Albania after his grandfather’s death to fulfill his last wish: to scatter his ashes by the sea. Though estranged from his family and homeland, Leon embarks on a journey across Albania. Along the way, he meets Zoe, a German photographer, and together they face unexpected adventures — from helping a soldier reach his pregnant wife, to escaping a chaotic wedding. As Leon reconnects with his roots, he uncovers the truth about his past: he was rescued as a baby from a sunken refugee boat, and his grandfather raised him as his own. Through this journey of self-discovery, Leon finds peace, understanding the true meaning of family, love, and belonging.
