During isolated Albania’s transition into unchecked capitalism, a family of five is murdered by two brothers in what is initially classified as a robbery. at the age of 20, Agia is engaged with Agim, who soon migrates to Greece with Mark, her older brother and left alone with her younger brother, Gjon. Living in a village fast emptied by migration, they decide to go back to their family tradition, Albanian fez. Day after day, Gjon and Agia stand together selling their wares for a few euros at the edge of a busy motorway. Their luck changes when they meet Mario, who enters into business with the duo to sell their characteristic Albanian plis to the rest of Europe. The business proves successful, but Mario soon harasses and abuses Agia. Mark returns from Greece. In the dead of night, the two brothers murder Mario’s entire family in cold blood.
